AWARD SEASON 2025
Who doesn’t love being on a Long List…. especially when it’s the GRAMMY’S! Yes, please!
(10.01.25) received official notification that two of my Compositions would be on the Grammy First Round Ballot. This is the long list if you will, gearing up for the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards® February 1st 2026. The ‘For Your Consideration’ season kicked off October 3rd and ran feverishly right through til October 15th, This voting period, the First Ballot, chooses who will be the lucky 5 Nominees in each of the 95 Grammy Categories! You can view my two FYC Campaigns in the blogs above, they include an FYC for demitasse, and for That Summer. Both songs were vying for Best Instrumental Composition.
While I did not get nominated this year, to be on the Ballot at all, is such an honor, I am still buzzing!
But there is a silver lining….because I am now a Recording Academy Voting Member (Class of 2025) this will be the first time I can submit to receive tickets to actually go to the Awards Ceremony! It’s a lottery system, my fingers are so crossed! Would love to experience seeing friends and colleagues who are nominated, win that top prize Live and in person! I’ll keep you posted.

‘That Summer’ is currently in the Finals (November/Dec. 2025) of the UK Songwriting Contest. Very excited to be included, so thrilled, I cannot tell you! Good luck to all.

July 10, 2025, a date I will remember forever, selected to be a Voting Member at the Recording Academy / GRAMMY Awards. I am already looking forward to my first FYC Season as a Grammy Voter upcoming October 2025. A genuine honor to be part of the Recording Academy family.
August 24.25 The Intercontinental Awards were held in L.A, the ICMA’s are an international platform that recognizes and celebrates musical talent worldwide. I was so taken aback by winning in the Classical Category with Winter Glow, my voice raised 10 octaves! Here’s A snippet waiting with bated breath to find out if I’ve won!
April 2025, my Classical piece ‘demitasse’ won GOLD, in the Composition Category. at the International LIT Music Awards. Produced by 3kstatic. Thank you kindly to the LIT Voters, this award means so much, and so proud to be a Canadian Winner!
March 2025, such a thrill to win TWO Bronze Medals for Composition, at this Year’s Global Music Awards. Both ‘demitasse’ and ‘Love Locked Duet’, are part of the Me, You And The View’ Mayfair Arrangements Album. The Producer for the entire album, is Dean Capone of 3kStatic.
Wonderful to be a Canadian in this Global Mix.
